This Town

This town is full of neon lights, arcades and haunted houses covered in dust. This town in the shadow of the mountain. This town is dense, packed, built up and out to full capacity. Always added on to, attracting tourists. People change, things change, fads change. Does this town  change?

Airbrush shirts in bright obnoxious colors, tacky purses, hats, mini statues, artisan crafts and ornaments: things not unique to this town.  Shops so full their items spill out the doors that were windows and climb up the windows that were walls.

This town is big, bright, loud and full. This town surrounded by the natural beauty of the world: mountains, trees, animals, waterfalls, trails; pushes it away. This town desperately clings to something else, something it doesn't truly know.
